My name is Danielle Ogard and I am the owner and coach of Somac Swim. I have been coaching swimming to all ages and abilities for 25 years, but I just started this venture in January 2024!

I rent pool space at various pools in Marin County. You can view more information on the locations page. The clinic schedule changes every couple of months depending on the pools and space available. The current schedule is always updated on this site.

I have a passion for teaching others how to get comfortable in the water and become "strong" swimmers. I believe swimming is one of the few sports you can do your entire life and I want all my swimmers to be able to come back to swimming at any stage of their lives. My oldest student is 99 years old and my youngest is my own daughter - first underwater at 3 months old!

My goal through my swim clinics is to teach young age group swimmers more awareness of their body movement in the water while also improving stroke technique knowledge. These clinics are for competitive and non-competitive swimmers ages 6-14 years. Swimmers should be able to swim continuously in deep water for 30-45 minutes. Speed Swimmers should have swim team experience.
